Wanna Volunteer?
Check out the Smartshop Volunteer calendar, located in the studio. Art
Hops create many tasks that need to get done. You may work the entire
time or just part of it. Please call the shop at least two days in
advance to let us know you are coming. Volunteers are the super heroes
of Smartshop! We also need:
- Help researching grant opportunities
- Help in the gallery
- Help documenting classes and events (photography, video, film, etc.)
- Help coordinating and planning fund raising events
- Help coordinating and planning Artist's Market
- Help with painting and shop maintenance projects
- Help hosting Art Hops
- Weekly visits to help recycle paper, glass, plastic and other recyclables
Things SMAC Needs:
The Smartshop Metal Arts Center is a federally recognized nonprofit
organization. Your donations are tax deductible. When dropping off your
donations, please be sure to supply us with a written description of
your donation and your contact information, so we can send you a thank
you letter and proof of your donation for your tax records.
