The Smartshop Metal Arts Center’s Art Gallery enthusiastically invites one and all to submit work samples for exhibition and sale during our 2008 GREEN Season Show, held November 7, 2008 – January 10, 2009.

The SMAC GREEN Season Show will showcase unique, affordable, environmentally conscious, Fine Art and Fine Craft handmade by Artists from North America.

We hope to establish Smartshop as the place to find extraordinary gifts for the upcoming 2008 Holiday Season. Your work will be appreciated and enjoyed by a wide spectrum of patrons.

Work must meet the following critieria:

-Retail sales price is less than $50.00.

-Made from 50-100% recycled materials.

-All work is “Show Ready” with all applicable hardware, framing, etc. included.

-All works must be for sale.

The Smartshop Metal Arts Center (SMAC) is beloved facet of Kalamazoo’s ever expanding arts scene. SMAC is also a federally recognized 501 c-3 non-profit organization.

Proceeds from gallery sales go directly to support our mission: To support, promote, teach and practice the metal arts. Participating artists will receive 50% of the retail sales price of their work. Participating artists will ship their work to the gallery and the gallery will pay return shipping expenses for any unsold works.

All mediums are eligible! So make your collages, books, sketchbooks, cards, s-hooks, key chains, bottle openers, coffee mugs, etc.,  snap a pic or two and send it to us for consideration..
